Hmmmm...I guess once a month is what you should expect from here on out! (I started this Saturday, April 30th!)

So...my son plays Varsity baseball (you may be thinking...so, who cares?  Stay with me...it will all connect!)  Anyway...every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this spring I am on a baseball field from 4:30-6:30...and I'm used to working until 5 or 6, so something has had to take a back seat...you guessed it...my blog.  I truly LOVE blogging, but I just can't make time for it these days.  (And to top it off...my oldest son plays Club Baseball at Maryland and he usually plays on Saturdays and Sundays...so there is NEVER time!!)

However, I have SOOOO many pictures to share with you that I am doing a picture/caption blog today (well I actually started last Saturday night, but never finished!!)

Pi Day

We read about pi, discovered pi by measuring, analyzed the digits of pi, AND ATE PIE!

STEM DAY

Most classes when they reach their Soaring with Pride goal they choose to wear pjs, watch a movie, extra recess...and not that my class doesn't like those things, too, but....they chose to have a STEM DAY.  They got to make a plan, draw up a design, and create their product...make adjustments and then present their creation to the class.  They were allowed to work in groups or individually...check out their products!!

One of the projects created needed to be tested...so we did!
