FYI

I have quite a few things I want to make sure you all know...

First and foremost...I am enjoying your children immensely. I'm not sure who is learning more...them or ME! They are wonderful wealths of knowledge and I walk out each evening wondering how I can structure the next day to make sure there are challenges waiting for them...trust me, it's not easy!

Secondly, this Friday we have our class picture. I have picture forms and money from quite a few children, but there are still a lot of students who have not turned their forms in. If you are planning to order the picture, please make sure to send the form and money by Friday. Mrs. Huston will be at school on Friday for the picture!

Another thing happening this Friday is the students will have a quiz on prefixes and suffixes (otherwise known as affixes). They will be completing a study sheet tomorrow in class that they can bring home for review. The kids have spent the past couple of weeks working with prefixes and suffixes and know their meanings really well!

Our field trip has been rescheduled! We will be going to the ESSL lab on Tuesday, March 18th from 9:30 - 11:00 am.

Last, our schedule is pretty crazy next week. Please refer to the letter that was sent home earlier this week with the times the children arrive and are dismissed on Tuesday, March 4th and Wednesday, March 5th.

I hope to see you all at the Open House I'm holding on Tuesday, March 4th at 4pm. If you're not able to come, and you'd like to come in and speak with me one on one, I am scheduling conferences the evening of March 5th. Please call the office to sign up for a conference if you're interested.
