Short, but sweet...and full of pictures!

Very busy weekend in the Wills' household...and TONS of papers to read and grade, so this post will be mainly pictures. Just know that we don't ever stop...all day long!

As you know, our class met our goal of THIRTY Soaring with Pride stickers. They voted to have "Spy Day"...

And, of course, we had to go on a spy mission....


It was a fun way to celebrate the class' great accomplishment!

We've been doing a lot of work with close reading...reading an article more than once, for different purposes, to gain better understanding. What does that look like? 














The kids are working towards a published personal narrative. They work with writing partners to discuss ideas and  ask questions of each other in order to write their best piece. Take a look...










The kids are researching a particular state and creating a travel brochure. They are looking for specific information about the physical features, climate, and natural resources of their state. They will use their findings to convince readers to visit their state. They are working hard...check it out!!
