...participated in Take Your Child Day to Work Day at Ft. Detrick. While there, he and his sister, Mona held a couple of snakes on exhibition there! They enjoyed the Brain Museum- the picture is of a real formalin-preserved human brain which the children were allowed to hold. He has also been taking in some history this summer. For July 4th, Nikhil made it out to Ft. McHenry, Baltimore, where he and his sister participated in the flag folding ceremony, folding a 30x42 ft Star-Spangled Banner Flag, similar to the one that inspired Francis Scott Key during the War of 1812! And last weekend they visited Lincoln Cottage (in D.C.), President Lincoln's summer home where he drafted the Emancipation Proclamation. Now he's eagerly waiting his beach vacation just a couple of weeks away!
