Well, Pi Day snuck up on me...but I managed to grab tortillas on my way to school today, so we're going to discover Pi for ourselves this afternoon. In years past I have planned ahead and had some parents make some different PIES to enjoy during this lesson. Between MSA's, Daylight Savings, and my husband's new knee, I'm glad I knew it was a school day, much less Pi Day!! However...I was thinking that maybe we could celebrate the end of testing with some PIE Tasting on Friday...anybody interested in providing a pie? If we had three or four pies, it could be a great afternoon of feasting and celebrating our end of MSA's! If you are interested (and store bought pies are fine...but home baked ones are good, too!) please send me an email so I can plan accordingly. I will have plates, napkins, forks, and waters for the kids.
Thanks for your help with this...have a good rest of the week and check back this weekend for fun pictures of our Pi Day activities...and a summary of the other things we busied ourselves with this testing week!
