Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Today was a fun day! I believe we were visited by Leprechauns!! Our morning slide show was unusually green...there were green pencils on every desk...green shamrocks on every desk...and our afternoon was full of St. Patrick's day fun...each child got a chance to use the promethean board in our Lowe Lab...this is an interactive board the size of a classroom chalkboard...you use a "pen" like you would the mouse of a computer...the kids LOVED it! While small groups got to come to the promethean board, everyone else visited a very cool Inspirations page that had a link to a movie about St. Patrick's Day, links to four informative websites about St. Patrick's Day, a "Pot 'O Gold" website to play math games, and a link to Google Earth, to take a trip to Ireland! My very helpful and technology savvy leprechaun friend (Mrs. Cicerone) prepared this amazing site and the kids had a blast.

I am very proud of the work they're doing on the MSA's...they are taking their time and checking their work...make sure to tell them I said so! They have a break tomorrow...no testing...but then we're back at it on Thursday...so keep up the yummy breakfasts and good nights sleep...we're half way done!

Thanks...and Happy St. Patrick's Day...I'm thinking about having something green after school...:-)!!

Happy End of January
